Abu Hurayra (ra) reported that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, “Verily Allah does not look to your bodies and your wealth, but He ooks to your hearts and to your deeds.” (Muslim, al-Birr, 34)
‘Abd Allāh b. Abī Bakr narrated from Anas b. Mālik (ra) that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, “Three things follow the bier of a dead man. Two of them return and one remains with him: the members of his family, wealth and his good deeds. The members of his family and wealth return and the deeds alone are left with him.” (Muslim, Al-Zuhd, 5)
‘Abd Allāh b. Busr narrated (ra) that a Bedouin said, “O Messenger of Allah! Who is the best of the people?” He said, “He whose life is long and deeds are good.” ( al-Tirmidhi, al-Zuhd, 21)
