According to ʿAʾisha (ra), Allah’s Messenger (saw) said, “Even if I were to be given this or that, I would not mock anyone, and I would never like this.” (al-Tirmidhi, Sifat al-Qiyama, 51)
According to Wathila b. Al-Asqaʿ (ra), Allah’s Messenger (saw) said, “Do not rejoice over the mishaps of your brother so that Allah has mercy on him and subjects you to trials (by the same mishaps).” (al-Tirmidhi, Sifat al-Qiyama, 54)
ʿAʾisha (ra) said, “O Messenger of Allah! Safiyya is a woman who is such and such” (and she used her hand as if to indicate that she was short).
