According to Abu Hurayra (ra), Allah’s Messenger (saw) said, “…You have been sent to make things easy (for the people); you have not been sent to make things difficult for them.” (al-Tirmidhi, al-Tahara, 112)
Abu Ishaq heard Abu ʿAbd Allah al-Jadali (ra) say, “I asked ʿAʾisha (ra) about the character of the Messenger of Allah (saw). She said, ‘He was neither obscene, nor uttering obscenities, nor screaming in the markets. He would not return an evil with an evil, but rather he was pardoning and forgiving.’” (al-Tirmidhi, al-Birr, 69)
